Windows experience index

The Windows experience index measures the capabilities of your computer's hardware and software configuration and expresses this measurement as a number called a base score. A higher base score generally means that your computer will perform better and faster than a computer with a lower base score, especially when performing more advanced and resource-intensive tasks. The base score generally ranges from 1.0 to 7.9

 A Nerd Correction!

On March 24th I presented "Computers 101" for Canby Telcom's FREE computer class they host each quarter at the Canby Telcom Training Facility.

I am embarrassed to say that I mistakenly stated that you can view Microsoft Windows experience index with all version of Windows including XP. This is incorrect ;-( Windows experience index is only available on Windows Vista and Windows 7.

My deepest apologies for anyone affected by my error
