Auslogics Disk Defrag (Download)

QUICK TIP - when you run Auslogic you can choose a standard defrag or defrag & optimize. Choosing defrag & optimize will place the most frequently used programs in the quickest part of your hard drive (this is a longer processes however run maybe once a week or once a month)

Quick Tip 2 – Selecting ‘Settings’ then ‘Program Settings…’ you will be shown six tabs. Select the tab labeled ‘Algorithms’ and select the check boxes for ‘Delete temporary files before defragmenting’, ‘Simultaneous defragmentation of disks’, and ‘Move system files to the beginning of the disk’. Selecting these options will initially make the process run a little longer; but, after the first run it does not add much time to the process.
