Android 101

Now that I have an Android I thought I would share a list of apps that I use and places I found that helped me learn about the Android ;-)

In most cases select the droid market place on your phone and enter the name of the application I have listed and you will have the option to download directly on your phone

Power Control Widget allows you to turn off services that you are not using (Wifi, Blue tooth, GPS, Sync and dim your screen) to conserve you battery life!

To add the 'Power Control Widget' on the home screen press menu, select 'add', select 'Widgets' then scroll down to Power Control. Just remember you need four (4) positions open across the screen you are on to place the widget. If you find you don't like this widget you can just place it in the trash can to remove the widget from your home screen.
